Calgary LXers: Another good dealership
Not too long ago I read some positive feedback about Big 4. I haven't tried their service dept. yet but I just got through dealing with Courtesy and I was VERY impressed! I bought my Magnum there about three weeks ago. I got a great price but had some trouble with the service dept, or so I thought. Turns out it was the salesman not relaying messages properly (to service from me, or vice versa). Anyway, when I went in to complain I was astounded at how well I was treated. One of my complaints was that the Mopar Parksense module was installed on the passenger side pillar rather than in the middle above the rear window. They explained that the directions said it should be placed there and showed me the directions to prove it. I was OK with that and said I'd order a new panel (as they'd drilled a hole in the pillar cover) and then mount it where I wanted it. The sales manager heard me say that, stepped out for a minute, then returned to say that he'd ordered me one and that sales would be paying for it!! I told him that wasn't necessary as they'd only done what the directions said, but he insisted!
Next I asked the service dept. to book me an appt. to update the computer to show the sattelite system I installed. Instead the adviser (Dan) went and got a tech to do it right there while I was waiting! I wasn't ready for that and didn't have the instructions with me, and the tech couldn't figure it out (he'd never done one before), but today when I returned with the directions, same thing: Dan grabbed a tech and updated the computer right there in the breezeway. No waiting, and he didn't charge me a dime!
After how well they treated me, you can bet that I'll be returning to Courtesy when I need something done.
Just thought I'd share that.
