Best engine cleaner and method

getting the magnum sxt for the cruise to xxx show, what recommendations do you guys and gals make for a engine cleaner and how?

I have always been a fan of Armour All cleaner. It does not harm paint (when used properly), and does a great job of cleaning.

1) Wet a warm motor down.
2) Spray (& neuter) engine compartment with cleaner.
3) Wait 2-3 minutes with motor running.
4) Blast all the dirt off.
5) Drive around for a few minutes to dry motor.
6) Spray engine compartment down with your favorite dressing. (Not Thousand Island)

NOTE: Try to do this in the evening when it is cooler, as you do NOT want the cleaner to dry on paint. Also, make sure to keep paint wet at all times while performing the above steps.

Be careful with the engine cleaner you use... dont get any on the outside paint. Diluting the cleaner is best if you can.
