BCLX brothers, my daughter is car hunting.

We just started looking so who else should we try first other than the BCLX bros. My daughter is in the market for her first car. She is getting her license in June and would like to spend about a thousand dollars. Of course she said her first choice would be any LX hemi, but that is going to have to wait. She would prefer a Honda or Volks, or similar car, hatchbacks are a good thing as well.
Something good on gas, as she has no money for gas. If there is anything that may be of interest to her, please PM me ...thanks.

I remember when our kids started driving............the sleepless nights, the headaches, the night sweats, the day sweats, the dented garage door, the two more vehicles to repair, better stop...the flashbacks are causing headaches.

You might want to consider $1,500 or so. Seems to make a big difference in what you will get. Good Luck. I've got a good buddy/Mechanic in Surrey who would look it over for you...

1989 Daytona ES with a turbo I 2.5l engine and an auto tranny, fully loaded, T tops, 15" Shelby mags, factory body kit, removable faceplate CD player, power everything including a trip computer and it runs and drives nice but needs a few vacuum lines fixed... I paid $375.

I had that 2.5 turbo in my Shadow many years ago.With the ES suspension it was a rocket and handled like a dream...suprised many cars by keeping up with them, including a 6.6 Trans Am.

ah yes memories, i had a 1989 daytona shelby with a 2.2 turbo/intercooled. 5 speed manual... yep sure had abundance of torque steer..
