Dallas Area CMR Tuner

I've had a couple of email conversations with Mike Wilson at Dallas Mustang. They are a certified CMR tuner shop for Diablo located in Dallas. I've been testing the waters with them about dyno tuning LX cars and they are diffinitely interested, but they need to get a feel for the market. Xtreme Motorsports in North Richland Hills is a CMR tuner for our LX's.

speaking of....
i FINALLY went back to get my car looked at from our last meet and greet.

first run in the dyno....362rwhp.

a difference of about 8, so the give and take from dyno to dyno.

but way off the 406 rwhp that i had originally hit from my first CMR tune.

he looked at my data log, 7 degrees of knock and pulled timing.

BAD GAS. the gas here and everywhere i guess is just unreliable and crap.

he adjusted the timing to ensure that was the issue and i immediately gained 27rwhp.

we decided to leave it at that. i will experiment with gas and see what happens. so for now, i am at 389 with some bad gas. thats all we could come up with as nothing has changed on the tune or in my car for there to be that big of a gap.

but to answer your question, they are a CMR tuner and can do the work for ya. good bunch of guys there and you will deal with the owner, Arvil.

Does this really make that much of a big difference. and i would also want to know pricing before i send the email

it's $400 at Xtreme.

even if ya dont gain an incredibel amount(you may), it's worth it to have your car dialed in correctly.
