CMR tuner in Fort worth...my dyno

as of yesterday, Xtreme Horsepower in North Richland Hills is a CMR tuner for Chrysler now for the diablo.
i was the guinea pig for the CMR tune today.
went from a pig rich 350rwhp to this.....

oh no....
stock it makes 370.
i got the CAI and the tune for the CAI.
the tune that was sent to me was PIG RICH and only made 350rwhp.

with the CMR tune, it added the average hp gains that we have seen.
there are a handful of guys i know that have the same mods i have and they are putting down the same numbers with a CMR tune....just over 400rwhp. on 93 octane.

ha! i told the shop owner as soon as i posted these numbers, his phone would start ringing.

the shop is Xtreme Horsepower in North richland hills, in and around fort worth, near northeast mall.

not sure how many pulls they did, i left my car there and it was on the dyno for about 6 hours, being as mine was the first SRT8 they have tuned.
the owner of the shop tuned my car. great guy to work with.
he went through about a quarter of a tank of gas.
the price for the CMR tune if you already have the Diablo Predator is $400.
not bad.
if you do not have a predator, they will sell the package i think he said at around $650-$800 including the CMR tune.

Thanks for the heads up bro, I'm still going to get the TQ before I flop 4 bills on a custom tune. My tune works just fine for now. Thanks for the head up!!! I met one of the owners a while back at the track in Sanger(north of Denton) talking about becoming a tuner). Glad to hear he finally done it.

yeah i had asked the owner, Ervil, i think thats how ya spell it, if he was going to do it soon, and he got it a week later.
took a whle to get it dialed in as it was the first he had done, but it was well worth it.

honestly i couldnt tell ya, i left my car there for the day.

i did see him a couple times do a few runs going from 2000rpm to 4000rpm so this may be what he was doing.

not sure though.

I just might go by there this week to try and get some better timing and less KR in my current tune....I need to have a trust friend call and see if these guys know what they are doing before I let them near my car though.

all i can say is they have about a dozen built LS motors there they have built, they are a machine shop, very clean, the owner is always there.
he is fresh to the SRT diablo tuning but has been doing predator custom tuning for GM and Fords for a while now.
you should check em out, if ya call, ask for the owner, Ervil i think is how it's spelled, he is a good guy. seems very honest, like a guy that will be frank with ya.

decided to respond here as well.....

i am waiting for the weather to get better. the shop has cars in that are in the way and cannot be taken outside in the rain, then when it didnt rain today, i didnt have the time. hopefully the next couple days or the beginning of the week.

however, i did go to the shop and he looked at my dyno sheet, wondering if they had traction control ALL THE WAY off. my graph is very squirrelly and he said it looked a little like his first run with my car.

the first time he ran mine on the dyno, traction control was not completely off and it only pulled 350 rwhp.
we'll see soon though.
he thinks it was way off any dyno differences and with my mods and the custom tune he believed that the number should have been higher as well, especially over a canned tune. he thought i may have messed somethin up when i adjusted the fans and speed limiter so he re-downloaded his custom tune.

i will get it dynoed soon and the same day i will bring it back to Speedtec as the owner wanted to compare the numbers again given the same temperature and conditions.

i'll post as soon as i find out.

so you guys can see my speedtek dyno to compare to my Xtreme HP dyno.....
