I got a postcard from SRT inviting me to the "Power Party" at the Dr. Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX. It says me and a guest are invited to drive vehicles from the SRT lineup on an exciting autocross course, grab a bite to eat, and receive a thrill ride in one of their cool SRT vehicles.

Sounds like a mini SRT track experience to me. Anyway, the wife and I are confirmed for Nov. 10 @ 09:00. Anyone else going?

Cathy from the SRT phone center said I was the first to register. I'm in the 1:30pm group. My younger brother is tagging along. I called today to check on the event and she said they where booked solid for the Frisco gathering. I'm not sure where else these events are taking place.

Sounds like a mini SRT experience to me too.

One of the CentralOhioLX guys (Pigman 440) went to that same event near here in Dayton, OH and from what he said it was like a mini-SRT Track Experience. I am still kicking myself for missing that one.

CAN'T WAIT. I'll see you and anyone else that's going tomorrow. I wonder about the 08 Magnum SRT8 and the crossfire SRT6. I bet they are not there.

I went to todays event and had some good fun. Very much like a mini-mini SRT track experience.
The thrill rides were a blast. So much tire smoke that people (uninvited) from all over were stopping by to see what was on fire. New vipers and srt8 magnums doing figure 8's like never before. 600hp Vipers never got out of 1st but we got plenty of sideways action. I was a little surprised at the Magnum SRT8 as it was just as fun.

I wished I knew beforehand how laid back everything was going to be. I failed to bring my camera or video camera. I had no one to hold it for me so I left it at home. I hope somebody got some pictures. The cone course was just like the SRT track thing but longer and you could do it as many time as you wanted. Had lunch and drinks there too. Oh, and the 2008 SRT4 was there as well. Looks pretty cool.

FYI: No 2008 SRT8 Magnums or SRT6 crossfires. That 2008 srt8 mag will be one rare beast.
