    Thanks guys

Figured we needed to be a little more visible. Since we have the longest running M&G (coffee meet) going, we figured we'd get this happening

    Jeepers!

No one wanted to to an LXCO but went ahead with a LOWR... hmmmmm...

Why not just call it the "Westside Boyz" j/k

Maybe if not an LXCO, at least an LXTO!

    Adam,

I went through trying to get some organization of the Ontario guys a while ago (twice as a matter of fact). It wasnt going to happen, most everyone wanted to stay independant (thats fine). I opted to try to get the WestSide Boyz a bit more organized and up-front because we seemed to be able to do things as more of a group. We have the longest known Coffee Meet every sunday than any other crew on the board. We've had Ceemego drive down from Barrie just to join us for a coffee meet (2 hour drive) a couple of times. During our meets we've had as many as 12 LX cars attend. Thats pretty amazing no matter how you look at it. And on the flip side we're had as little as 2 cars during a snow storm (that was HigsHemi and myself ... the fools that we are). So needless to say we may be a small group but we have managed to be organized for some events and getting more organized as we go.
We've had a couple of BBQ saturdays (thanks to Nightshade) where modding has taken place, we're attended as a group some cruises and car events (with more to come). We're just starting out. We're not trying to be hard core 'car club' guys, its more like a group of LX enthusiasts who like to enjoy the company of other LXers and talk cars.

We are open to new members joining from Waterloo Region and/or the surrounding areas. Its up to the current founding members to agree or disagree on someone joining. Though NOT being a member doesnt mean you cant join us at our various events. I dont think we want to step on any one elses toes, so we'll draw a boundary line somewhere near Mississauga

How does one join? I live in Caledon, just outside Orangeville and am not sure where my closest LX club would be. I just bought my Magnum in November and this winter has been harsh around the farm so I haven't got out much.

Well dude, it starts with a full background check. Usually 3 or 4 generations deep, then if passed you must be able to survive "hell week". This involves staying a week joined at the hip with fellow member "moondoggie". Not many have survived pass the first night for some reason. I just consider myself lucky to be an original. I know myself I'm not man enough to pass this one. Anyways.... If this task is met, and I truly mean "if" you must then buy me a large hot coco with whip cream at your first meet in Cambridge. hehehe!
