Suspension stiffness in Magnum SXT
being new to the platform and having only been for a ride in modified SXT (coilovers and 20" wheels), how do you find the suspension in your SXT?
i've really noticed recently, that under moderate braking (at city speeds) you can't feel the struts compress, but holy, once you've stopped there is significant kickback as springs pop back out. so obviously there is more dive going on then i'd think would be normal.
also going over dips in the road at highway speeds, it really seems like the car tends to shoot back up too quickly.
the only thing i can compare this to is my 14 year old suspension in my subaru before i switched to aftermarket.
with the ongoing little niggling things since i've bought the car (paint, rotors, detailing), and the fact that the dealer wasn't surprised that the rotors needed to be replaced at 13000km, is this par for oem parts? suspension going before 15000km?
any thoughts on this are welcome.
