my kill thread? err... not quite...

lol coming home last night, cruising along under 120, this snot green mustang gt comes smoking along near abouts 140-160, followed closely by an acura or infiniti i think.

didn't really think much of it, other then the fact that the mustang just sounded awesome... and was riding on a donut!!!

a few moments later i see him slowing down again, then speeding up... i think he was just listening to his exhaust.

at this point i'm coming up behind him, and i guess he saw the front bumper. so he pulls into the slower lane, slows down beside me till we're head to head, revving the engine.

i point to his car, give him the thumbs up and tell him his car is mint, he nods thanks and slows down a touch more... only to notice my car has a single exhaust i assume, and gives up trying to goad me on.

lol... i'd like to think he stopped because i gave his ride some "respect", but i suspect i wasn't even worthy of getting "killed"!!!

sigh... the sad part is, all i could think was... if i had a hemi, would i be doing it?

all this of course after my arsehole insurance broker who knew i wish i'd gotten an R/T, calls to tease me about the fact that my bestfriend just got his Dakota with a 5.9L.
