    Find of the century!

The way the story goes, some guy bought a farm in Portugal that was abandoned for 15 years. While investigating the property they came across this welded closed barn/building.
    Have a look inside!!!

Hi Russ...this has been posted here before...it's still quite amazing!!!

    Cheers CANDYAPPLE

P.S. Someone in Nova Scotia recently set fire to a barn, destroying over $500,000.00 worth of antique cars, trucks, boats, and tractors! Nothing was salvagable. The '57 Bel Air was said to be worth over $40,000.00 alone. Fifteen classic vehicles +++++

    Wonder if he had insurance????

Yeah, a fantastic story. (of course most of us might dream of finding one ol gem in bequeathed barn somewhere) A bit eerie, kinda reminds me of those TerraCotta soldiers uncovered in China. Just....waiting....in the dark.

What gets me if they were a "collection" why didn't anyone in the town know about then enough to tell or want to buy the property themselves?

Or could it be a stash of stolen cars from years ago.

Hi As reported in the current issue of OLD AUTOS newspaper July 2/07, the fire was in Birch Grove NS. Included in the loss were a 1970 Porsche 911, a 1965 Chevy Nova race car, a 1948 Ford half ton and the valuable 1957 Chevy Bel Air. There were 5 boats, a trailer, lawnmower and tools. Everything was gutted.
Doesn't give a date but the article was recently submitted by Brian McNeil of Westphal NS.

Wow that is quite the collection. I bet they are all stolen and stashed (as was said earlier)

Token would spend a decade in there with his buffer and Zeino.
