Winters on the way and I am starting to look into some winter rims and tires for my SRT8 Charger. Wondering if anybody out there would be able to help me out. I'm not finding really much of anything that will clear the brembo's.

Have you considered a $500 beater for the winter. By the time you buy tires and rims, you could have a beater and insurance (no collision). This would save your SRT from the winter thrashing.
IMO this in the only way to go with an SRT.
Save it for summer when you can enjoy the pavement without destroying your car!!!
By the time you buy winter rubber, rims, and then repaint the hood, bumper and lower wing from the damage the gravel causes alone (leaving the rest of the salt damage aside), replace your broken windshield, and then re-detail your ride in the spring you will have spent way over $500.
Another note - Downgrading your insurance from collision coverage to just Fire theft and vandalism over the winter on the SRT will more than cover the added insurance (basic coverage / PLPD) for a beater.

Crusin' which ASA AR1's do you have? The only bolt pattern thats close that I see is 5x114.3 and at tire rack currently I can't purchase them because they don't show up under my car. The only way the site is letting me bring up rims is by entering what type of car I have.
lol she is having nothing to do with the winter beater idea whatsoever lol
I love it
Make sure you buy kick ass winter tires for the car or you will be sideways into something over the winter. You do know 90% of edmontons roads don't get plowed right. I find the roads rough here driving my Durango in the winter.
I imagine you will be spending 1500 by time you get tires and wheels. Maybe a beater would be a better idea. But hey all up to you.

When on TireRack, use the 2006 Charger RT Performance Pack as your vehicle and then search out the ASA AR1's. They're silver.

Yah we called them those rims are discontinued that's why we can't see them with her car , so pretty much some slim expensive options. We just flat out can't afford a winter beater besides the fact that the car will only be used for back and forth to work , down ellerslie and up 91st. Those roads should be fine. Other then that the car we use the most in the winter is my Subaru which chews up winter and leaves it fer dead![]()
It's the GF's car but I love to drive the wheels off it heh. Now to teach her to do the same.
I think that's it Cruisin you are 100% sure those rims are the same ones that clear the brakes ? If so I can probably order within a week or 2. After all I don't wanna order them and then have them not fit lol. Should I get the TPMS included ?

I have a set of 4 18" MKW M50's that come with the locking lug nuts.
They were my winter rims for my 07 charger SRT.
Excellent wheels for winter tires as they fit SRT's
First $400.00 takes them
I am located in red deer.

Or check with Nygil_b at Kal Tire in wetakawyn, he's a member and will give you a smoken deal on rims & tires. I saved about 1000.00 when I purchased my rims & tires from him.
Great guy to deal with.
