About LinkBacksOK, I know I've posted some mean things about UPS before, but this is getting serious. Yesterday a UPS truck hit my Firebird!
I was expecting a UPS delivery, and when I pulled into my street, the UPS truck had just arrived. I pulled up behind, leaving enough room for the driver to get out easily (about 15 feet). I no sooner shut the car off than the truck started to back up. I figured maybe the driver didn't realize that I was there, so I hit the horn, but the truck kept coming. By the time I realized that it was not going to stop it was too late to start my car and move. The truck hit my front bumper, putting a dent about 3 inches deep, two inches tall, and 10 inches wide into it.
The driver said she had put her parking brake on (we were on a slight hill), and didn't realize the truck was moving until it was too late.
The worst part is that I still had to pay for the brokerage fees and customs charges. $108 for two tires!
Anyone know a good body shop in Calgary?
