Well done Jim, looks great... Have you noticed much difference on sound/performance from the previous CAI?

Looks good, Jim. Good luck tracking down a hood![]()
I have an airaid as well Jim and love it.
As for the hood good luck, gonna be a hard one to track down. Pikabikr on here had a a nice fully functional hood on his 300C, not sure the brand, but he has all the info, I'm sure they make one to fit yours too. Really nice hood, nad is similar to a MSRT8 hood i guess.
Good luck with the hunt
2011 Ram 1500 Sport
2010 GCSRT8, 20" Gloss Black Fac. Repro's, Billet Tech Bling/Catch can, LMI Frankintake CAI, SLP Exhaust, Diablo Predator, various other shenanighans !!!
2008 Superbee #558/1000, Traded in and missed
2005 Crossfire, Traded in on Bee
Looks good Jim!
nice little upgrade .... why the change ?
Gl on the hunt for the msrt hood
This CAI is made for the SRT-8 that has the extra ducting to mate up with the left side duct from the hood. I've always wanted to change hoods so I figured, as the price was right, to make the change.
The old CAI worked perfectly and gave a nice intake sound but with wanting to change hoods it had to be done.
Now to try and find a stock hood is going to be difficult unless I can find one that a dealer has in stock and wants to move it out; otherwise I'd look at a fiberglass hood that is reinforced to work with the hood struts and be identical to the stock SRT-8 hood.
