Show of hands for a July M&G in the Edmonton area

This is the idea i'm throwing out there and just want to see how many members would be interested. M&G in my backyard around the second weekend of July. I'm 32km's south of Edmonton. This is not just a M&G though, bring the whole family. I have 3.5acres of Saskatoons 4000 bushes, it's actually a U-Pick that i never charge for. I've also got a very nice grassed 1.5acre section that i take all the pictures of my cars on (thinking we could have the members all park there cars out there for the group picture and chat session). I'm just throwing the idea out there. My land is paved right into my backyard right from the QE#2 NO GRAVEL !!! NO MUD !!! even across all my land. Bring the kids, wives, BEERS and pick buckets of saskatoons. I produce around 3-4 tons a year and the size of small cherries. Just post if your interested.

I'm going to say either July 14 or 15, saskatoons are the best around then. The interested member please just let me know which of the 2 days works , i was going to shoot for the Saturday. Then the out of towns are not i such a rush. Once i find out how many are coming i'll get some out houses arranged and get some more tables, get the pails ready pull out the 3 BBQ's. Just remember i'm setting this up so the whole family can come. It's a great time every year that we put on the U-Pick, it's free and great way to meet people.

I just got good news, i now have a jump house being lent to me for July 14. The giant inflatable MONSTER TRUCK will be here for all the kids that come out they can climb inside and bouce around. I've tossed a couple get togethers in the past and i tend to go all out. Now just hoping that the weather is great.

Right on , i have room for around 50 or so cars here. We've got over a month to get everyone together. I'm giving enough notice i would hope. The more cars the better, i'd like to get a huge group photo.

I'll check with the girlfriend, but I think she'll love the idea. OK if I bring my dog?

Dogs are fine, we've seen your pitbull. LOL . My land is also fenced in as well. Also bring pails so you can take home some berries if you like.

We are now over 10 members to show and only posted for 4 days. The post is also on ChargerForums and were gaining the locals interests now. I sized up the parking area and yes were are good for a least 50 cars.

I've been spreading the word around as well, this is such a great idea. I have heard nothing but praise for you putting this together and offering your home to us.

Thank you again and I look forward to the list continuing to grow. This is going to be a great opportunity for us to hang out and get to know each other. (That, and if the cars from north and south can organize group trips to the event, the drive there might be an impressive sight to see!)
