Smile New Brake Rotors arrived on the 4th of July

My new R1 Concepts Brake Rotors and Pads arrived today, the Fourth of July and sure enough they had Stars and Stripes!
Well cross drilled and sloted anyway. LOL

Now I got to get them on and post some pics.

Hope they work as good as they look!

Good idea STS, LOL Actually I sprayed them down with WD-40 and took them to the carwash to get all the machine oil off them. I'll take them to Bestway and have them put a nice cross/hatch on them and we should be good to go.
Hopefully I'll be able to listen to something other than Elvis' "Whole Lotta Shaken" when I'm coming down from 90 MPH after uh....passing. I think it even got worse after I put the SRT wheels on, being heavier and all.

Well you have to quit hittin brakes so hard when AL's customers jump out in front of you. Just floor it, that should save them rotors this time. If they don't move then O WELL no loss around our shops. I still think you should get AL to put your rotor's on LMAO.

Your really dont need the caliper spreaders... these Brembos are super easy to change out... took me all of 10 minutes a corner and just used a medium size flat head screwdriver against the old pads to open the pistons the tiny bit you need...

New "R1 Concepts" rotors and pads are installed, they look way better than stock IMO and it sure is nice not to have all that shakey stuff happening. I've put about 200 Km on them since the instal and they are starting to seat in nicely. So far I'm happy with all of it, "Hats off" to R1 Concepts for the good service and good communication. Took about a week for him to get the order ready, and about a week shipping. Not too bad consdering there was a long weekend in there as well. Thanks Sam!!

I passed on the R1 Concepts info onto a friend with an AMG Benz and to his lucky they also make rotors for his car at a quarter of the cost that they cost at the dealership. I'd love to slap a set on my car but i'm sure the slotted ones I have on already are ALMOST as good, just don't look as awesome. All you have to do is paint them calipers. My rotors are not as cool but the calipers make up for it.

They are still working fine and I believe the stopping power is better than when the car was new. Purchased the pads from them as well and have no issues with any of it. Everything is good to go right out of the box, I took them down to the car wash and got rid of the machine oil on them but other than that nothing else was needed. It took maybe a week for them to break in well but I am very satisfied.
