About LinkBacksHey guys, to make a long story short I crashed my bike last thursday...
I was driving on Victoria Trail ( going 60 heh) and this dude with a dodge ram cut me off like I wasnt even on the damn road... I lost control and hit the sidewalk... Im ok except 3 cracked ribs and a few bruises... I had to stay in the hospital for 2 days ( they were worried that I ruptured my spleen... luckly that wasnt the case) Overall i was luky it wasnt worst...
The bike didnt get damaged to bad but Im selling it after i get it fixed.
So... ANYONE INTERESTED IN BUYING AN 06 HONDA 1000RR? HAHA
Joking aside... im never driving again anything that doesnt have 4 wheels.
Im really sorry I couldnt attend the meet on saturday but hopefully Ill be there for the next one :D

Glad you're not hurt too bad but ribs can be very sore.
I sold my 650 Honda over 30 years ago after laying it down and have only had 4 wheels under me since.

Holy Cra$, hope your doing ok. Thats totally understandable that you couldn't show, if it makes you feel any better it was a BUST !! Just joking it was a small turn out but a great time. Get better and hope to see you at one of the other events. I suppose you on bed rest for a couple weeks now as well, man I go stir crazy sittin around. Thats one heck of a bike, in the past I ran an FZR 1000 on NOS and blew the crank at 270km/hr with a wicked high speed wobble to add to it. I kept it up but sure scared the crap outta myself.
Rest up, get better and well see you in the future.

Geez that sux. I know how you feel though, I fell off a horse when I was 12 and got messed up, lost all intrest in horses.

Thank god you're (relatively) OK.
I used to want a bike, but then I took a course one weekend. It's like GasGunR says: "The only way to survive on a scooter is to think EVERYONE is going to do something to take you out... that makes it lose alot of its charm unfortunately". That and the fact that its hot, and the helmet and leathers are uncomfortable. I got off that bike each day at the end of the course and into my Firebird, put the top down, had the wind in my hair, t-shirt and jeans (no leather and helmet), cranked up the stereo, and wasn't freaked out everytime some bozo veered a bit in his lane. That convinced me that a bike was not for me.

most people here know of my accident and the MAJOR injuries that I received, but I still ride.... open road, 2 wheels, no cage surrounding you.. the freedom of the wind in your face..
