    Mods Started

Well if I can find the time I've got 2 mods to do

First - Danko Chin Spoiler, get the bumper drilled for the bolts, prime & paint the spoiler (Spray Cans) if I can find the factory colour from some where besides the dealership

Second - JBA Cat-Back, remove the factory one & install the new one, then it's time for a cruise, maybe a M&G in Calgary or Lethbridge.

One thing for sure - AdmaC at Eastway sure knows what service is, I paid for the system Tuesday afternoon and it showed up in the Hat Thursday morning; talk about excellent service. I think Eastway is the only dealership in Canada that knows how to look after its' customers .

This certainly seems to be the truth.

I look forward to seeing and hearing the new mods, Jim - now you seem to have the mod ball rolling

Well I hope to get started on the exhaust tomorrow night, just have to pick up a tube of muffler cement to put on the pipes just before sliding them together - just an added bit of prevention against leaks.

Maybe a trip to Lethbridge on the long week-end; have to check out the drone and how bad it is. According to JBA it's not there but according to members it is, so I find out I guess.

Well I came home at 3:30 to-day, rolled the back wheels up on the ramps, took off the stock system and installed the JBA Cat-back.

Looks wise at the back the 4" (I think that's what they are) look alot better than the stock ones; sound ten times better with a nice deep rumble, took it out for a spin and it seems a little pepier only problem is I'll have to try and reposition the X pipe as it's hitting the crossmember sometimes and I'll have to re-weld one of the front clamps as one side of one clamp cracked at the weld. Otherwise after 3 beer, 6 smokes it was on by 5:30 which isn't bad for just raising the back end, a hoist would have made it easier but you'd also need 2 people to get the exhuat off without cutting it.

Now for the front spoiler, maybe tommorow afternoon & Sunday afternoon for it.

Good work - hope you are pleased with it. After putting on some kms with my exhaust the note has changed some (the tune seemed to chang it quite a bit as well). How is the drone in the cabin?

So far it seems not too bad, you can certainly tell when the MDS cuts in but it is still tolerable and you can still talk in a normal fashion. We're thinking of heading to Lethbridge for Sunday evening; anyone want to hook up for a coffee/drink? For us it's just going to be a Sunday drive

Congrats on the new pipe, Hemi RT. Just FYI, in my particular case the clamps at the front of the cat back wouldn't grip very well any more and I ended up getting that joint tack welded for sweet-tweet at a shop.

Looking forward to some pics of your new spoiler once you get it on.

One front clamp - they call them "Sure Seal" clamps - is holding very well but the rod on one side of the other one broke free of the weld before I even got it tight, so it is as tight as I dare do it until I either get a new clamp, have to basically take the system off, or maybe get the rod back into place and weld it.

The JBA sure sounds nice, especially compared to the stock system, nice rumble at idle and lower speeds and a tolerable noise at highway speeds.

Now for the spoiler, maybe this week-end if the weather improves!
