Moderator Poll is closed. dewm1 is our new moderator!

Well it appears we have two very worthy individuals going head to head for the spot of Moderator...

in the 300 corner, in the DLR trunks we have David... and in the Magnum corner, in the BB trunks with the fancy stickers on them we have Jim...

dewm1 vs. Hemi RT...

Alright, due to overwhelming PMs to both myself and to him and posts regarding North vs South rep, Mike is willing to put his name back in... but this time with worthy challengers!! (not the car... I meant people with whom he would be competing...)

So in the Charger corner (yes... my ring has 3 corners, well 4, I'm in one watching, lol) wearing BB and pretty shoes, it's small town srt-8.

Cast your votes for the person who will be responsible for your fate and the lives of others... Or for the guy you want to be the new moderator, whatever! LOL

(Disclaimer: Actually, they're both good guys, and either one will do a great job. This poll is in no way endorsed by ALX or LXForums [maybe ALX, but in NO WAY LXForums... yet anyway, lol], the winner will have no real powers, only those perceived from the group. How many moderators can we have?, is there a limit?,, I think we should have a moderator in each "corner" of the province. Jim in Med. Hat, Chris in Airdrie, Small Town in Edmonton, and someone up in the GP area.
Moderators should be "visable and accessible" for such things as various meets and greets. If there are more moderators(to a point) the work load is less for each one.
Anyways,,, Jim, Chris, Mike and somebody.

not a bad idea... I'll fire off a PM and see whats up. I know originally there was lxforums plans for one forum, one moderator, but your idea makes a lot of sense, and it never really took much convincing the first time to get 2 mods, so who knows?

Woo Hoo this feels like the LXOM poll from last month. My wife said WTF this morning when she seen this poll. Personally I think 3 Moderators are not required. This is a website, you can take care of it from anywhere. 2 Moderators is more then enough. Heck I'm going to log on when I go on vacation to the Panama Canal in a couple months, you don't even have to be home to run the site. Just my opinion but 2 Moderators max, thats just my 2 cents.

Yeah just got confirmation from DMAG... 1 Moderator required, no more then 2 preferred. So we'll let this run and see where it goes.

Hope my comment didn't change his mind, I gave him the mouth gaurd then. So now that looks like Davids 4 to my 1 man it's a close brawl. There's going to be some bleeding noses after this match, What round we in now ?

Come on people vote for David !!! I'm only in the running because of some members thinking I should become a Moderator again. It's just too bad that Jim dropped out.

Sorry guys my excitement and i guess my attitude hasn't been up to par since stepping down from Moderator. I have received some PM's from some A-LX members telling me to calm down. I'm feeling I might have said something that affected Jim, which I still have no clue what the heck I said even a day later. Heck even Chris PM'd me and said I should get some sleep last night.
I know I have already made a couple posts that made me sound like an A$$ tonight.

hahahaha - I figured since David is a shoe-in, and you only have the 1 vote your wife signed on and gave you, the race was all but over. So I wasted my vote to see if anyone would notice....good catch!!

I just talked to David and we are leaving the votes up to the members. Either one of us would have backed out to allow the other to be the moderator but instead we want the group to decide for us. I'm not going to push the members anymore to vote for David now I just want you guys to vote for who you really think suites the position. It was great talking to you this morning David, sounded like you were snoozin sorry if I woke you up.
