I went into the dealership this evening on my way home to try and get a date to when my car was going to arrive, well no answer?? however there was an R/T sitting in the showroom, Silver, Leather, basically everything as mine was, but with leather and a 5.7ltr. Jason called me and is offering more for my car, if I take the R/T. The difference would be $14,000 from mine, so we'll see I'm still waiting for Chrysler to accept the damage repair as warranty, now that AMVIC and CAMVAP has stepped in again.

Still have to figure out the $$ side of it, I have to let him know by Wednesday though.

unless you're gonna be upside down after taking the loss (if nto covered by warranty) i wouldnt say $14k difference is worth it...or would they take your car outright and it would just be $14k or they want to add $14k onto your car??

well they offered me $22,500 for mine, (I own my car outright) so the difference between mine and the new SXT is now $7900, and the difference to the new R/T is $13981.86, so I have to ask what they are offering me for mine, seems like they are offering me more but marking up the R/T?? I'm still pricing everything out. But we may have some resolution.

I did serve small claims action against Chrysler last week for the loss of difference on my previous car... so we'll see what comes from that, if they settle I may pay the difference on the R/T.


*** Edit:I figured it out, the R/T is $39,500. so the difference between my $22,500 is $17,499 less the $3000 I get from Chrysler brings the R/T to $14,999 so the numbers run right, all now depends on what they offer now on my car.

yeah in a perfect world (if Chrysler were to actually care about there product) I'd love to leave with teh R/T, but I've never been a greedy kinda guy, if I get the costs covered I'd be happy with another SXT, We just want to be done with this garbage, but if the R/T works out, well I'll do it, my fiance is somewhat on board with the idea, just not big on the leather option???

well I don't get it....... so the dealership called, and the Customer service manager that I have been speaking with has know backed out of her word not only to me but to an investigator from AMVIC and they are not going to cover the repairs under warranty??? Is Chrysler bi-polar??? I'm sick of this crap....... I've taken all I can take with this nonsense, CAMVAP won't help, AMVIC keeps telling me warranty should have covered this, and they can't pursue anything more with the dealership as they haven't done anything wrong, my fight now has to go through Chrysler who isn't listening or helping in anyway. I was given a certificate to buy another car at dealer cost from Customer Service, and one from the warranty manager only to find out IO can only use 1 and the $3000 thaht was supposed to come off the price of the new car is only going to be $1500. WTF, so I am out in total $14,700 between the cost of the new car + repairs...... this is a freakin joke... what else do I do from here? Smalls Claims can only do so much and to get a lawyer is going to cost more than the whole loss on the car even if I win the claim?? F**k me when does this nightmare end?
