Good LX part shops, dealerships, repair shops...etc

    Hey Guys,

I wanted to start this thread as a resource for us Alberta LX owners. Please post shops that you have had good experiences with and you would recommend to others. This way, if someone is looking to buy new rims, tires, stereo, or has banged up the Magnum - they can turn here for some advice. I'll start:

    1. Icon Tinting (Calgary) - has done a couple cars for me and does a great job tinting, while always charging a very reasonable rate. Ask for Damien.

    Hope this works!!

Awesome news, i just got word of a machine shop in the Calgary area. I will be making a trip down in the next couple weeks to check out the shop, equiptment and see how familiar he is with hemi's. I hear this guy for the last 30 years has been building race engines, strokers, P&P heads is his specialty. Crossing the fingers hear, i'll get him to stroke my block out to a 426 and P&P the heads a cam pretty much rebuild the motor. Prices are not all that bad from what i hear as well. This shop may be the ticket for some of us. My friend said the name of the company was and wasn't sure if he had the name right but it was W.F. Machine ( Frank is his name ) . He just said it was just off the Edmonton Trail and knew where it was and has been there many times, i will get a phone # on Monday.

Woo Hooo, i am currently in the works with Hotchkis Suspension. I sent all my company info off to them and i'm trying to set up some deals. I ordered a kit on Friday and now i'm going to eliminate the middle man and go direct = better deals. I smell posible GROUP BUY soon. O YA some of the members are probly saying doesn't this guy stop ? Well the answer is NOPE i have nothing better to do !! Keep your eyes posted i have other companies i'm in contact with for some other deals.

I will give you the heads up when i get the account set up. I'm almost sure we can get enough members for a group buy on this item. I should have word back from Hotchkis either tomorrow or Tuesday. The TVS kit is the only way to go, Sways front and back and the coils all four corners and i got word the hardware on the sways have grease nipples. AWESOME no sqeeky sqeeky. I'm really crossing the fingers for this machine shop in Calgary though. HEAD WORK !!!
