There was a 300 SRT8 there as well and the best be could do was 14.4. Sounds pretty slow compared to most of the times I have seen on the boards. His times were consistent with mine from last year around 14.2.
I think it is our elevation of 1200 M or 4000 ft. Anyway I am hoping to get mine out soon to run again. Looking forward to seeing what she can do with the mods I have performed.
What is the elevation of the Castrol Raceway? If it is much different I would be interested in running my car up there to see the difference.

Yep, it's the elevation. I've never run my Magnum at the track, but I used to run my Firebird at Race City and most people there said a normally aspirated car would lose about a second at that altitude. (ie the 1/4 mile time in Calgary is about a second slower than at sea level) Turbocharged or supercharged cars also lose power, but not nearly as much. The cobalt ss is supercharged, so thats why it seems so fast here. The same race at sea level should put the SRT in front.
Edmonton is lower than Calgary, but not by much. I'd guess a normally aspirated LX would pick up .1 or .2 over Race City times, but its just a guess.
