Calgary Show & Shine. Sept 16

Even though I don't live in Calgary, I'm proposing a Meet & Greet on Sept 16, 2007 starting at around 11:00AM and ending Around 4:00PM. This should give everyone a good lead time to plan for it without any excuses. I want this to be the biggest S&S ever held in Calgary by one club so let's show them.

I was thinking that we could hold it at Hooters South or does anyone have a better location, Maybe a Timy's in case some don't want a liquid refreshment.

Seeing this is on a Sunday I think that we should be able to get every Calgary and Southern Alberta ALX Member out, Working people exempt but others will have to show or be Black Balled .

What does everyone think and will you attend??

Cool I have LOTS of questions about stuff I want to do to my car. I have only worked on Old cars and trucks pre 1960's. I find my car a little overwelming with todays technology.

It's the one on McLeod Trail South. Up from the mall.

Depending on how you came into Calgary. If you came all the way down deerfoot and turned right on Glenmore then go to Mccloed Trail, Turn right onto McCleod and you go past a mall then to Hooters on the right.

Or did you come South on McCeod?

Yes Mike, that's the same location.

As far as refreshments, Hooters is classified as a restaurant, not a bar, so minors are welcome and you can buy soft drinks there too. Personally I don't think we should change locations. There's plenty of room to park, we can keep an eye on our cars from in the restaurant, and the directionally challenged can find it (This means YOU Mike!). However that's just one man's opinion. I'm open to suggestions.

AND IT'S ON A SUNDAY !!! So far it works for me, I like that Hooter location, Thanks Scot for picking that location right from day one. Easy to find, lots of parking, good drinks and food, well maybe not the Nacho's with that green stuff on it but otherwise great all round place. Like one of my other posts I'll have to confirm a little closer to the date if thats ok.

OK so far we've narrowed it down to Sunday, 16 Sept., 2007 at HOOHOOHOOTERS South. The times OK - 11:00AM to 4:00PM?

We're planning to drive up on Sunday morning and go back in the evening. If I can convince New Muscle to come along there will be at least 2 of us from the Hat.
