Calgary meet was small in numbers, but fun!

Well, the night started off in the parking lot of Hooters... Jay007, small town srt-8, 0657 AWD, Magnacharged, Robbie, and myself. It was small but we made up for it. A lot of wings, some beers, a plate of nachos that looked oddly like a taco salad, and then the cruise. For those from Calgary we did the 17 ave East and West, then called it a night.

Small town srt-8 and Magnacharged did their best to smoke me out.. and almost succeeded. The night ended with Robbie and I giving small town srt-8 an escort to Airdrie, complete with obeying all traffic laws, and not once going above the speed limit.

Here are some pics... So the first is under our belts.. now we need to take over an entire parking lot next time!!!

It was gret meetin some of the gang....even if i'm the 'slow' or 'lil guy' in the lil red (sxt) wagon.........i think i may be faster that a truck tho....lol

Thanks Chris for the post, it was worth the drive down. The pictures turned out well. I just got in at 12:30am. O ya and comment about speed to Airdrie, I might have gone over MAYBE 5 over. LMAO
Hey it was great meeting some of the Calgary members and being able to put some faces to the cars. Sure wish I could have stayed for the drive out to Banff in the morning, maybe sometime else. And thanks again AWD for setting up the meet at Hooters I don't think there could have been a better place to meet, great parking, great food well not sure what to think of the greens on the Nacho's, it was well worth the drive and by the way I pulled 29.64 MPG. Once again awesome milage. Just got home in time, it pourin rain here now.

Well, that kind of looks like one of our BIG M&G's here in Portland. I'm glad you all made the best of it and it is easier to remember people in a small group.

Hey Chris, did you get the burn out on video? TURN IT IN !!! if you can make out the Magna's plate, he smoked them up so good I could hardly see him in the mirror. LMAO Thats awesome Rick wasn't giving up on the burn out, but the funny thing was turning the corner to a cop handing out a ticket to someone. Hey Chris have a safe trip, enjoy BC.

Hey everyone!

Great meet. The food and drinks were good, but the camaraderie and cruise were better. Next time we have to remember a camera, and maybe a picture of of a Hooter's waitress or two next to the cars.

I agree and maybe I should WASH MY CAR !!! Dammit I wish I could have stuck around last night, really wanted to go for the cruise this morning. Off to work I go, Have a great trip Chris and safe drive to the members cruisin to the mountains today.

Well that was fun.
Saw some pretty women, met a couple more.
Burned about a years worth of milage off the tires. NoESP works just fine.
Just me and Blacksunshine on Saturday so we didn't go to Banff,
'Sunshine and his wife just headed out early.
Wish I'd of known those guys were in front of you STS, I would've like to join in the fun with that Ford.
Hope more guys show up at your place in a couple of weeks.

Which Ford, the one that blew pas t us on the way to Airdrie ? Thats the only Ford that I recall. Did you get the chrome grill ? You really smoked those tires !! I heard you and started doing one but you were no match. Man I can't get over the sound of those ZOOMERS, I'm ordering one as soon as I sell my MagnaFlow's.

LMAO, NO $HIT !! Well maybe I could fool some guy with a single. Right after I finished up with work yesterday I come home to a TORE UP front yard. The wife went crazy with the tractor and wants to spruce up the insland in the middle of our driveway. She wants things to look good when we have our M&G, so I did my part and ripped out some spruce trees to make room for the cars.
