Hi all, as you know, there is a member who has been working like crazy to put together ALX's very first official meet. Not only has he arranged for almost everything required, but he has ensured that it will be one heck of a way to kick off this club.

Small town srt-8, I thank you for all the help, and for offering us all the opportunity to have a real "brag to those south of the border" get together. I'd also like to thank you for bringing this club to the attention of other forums with so much enthusiasm. It was easy to go out and inform people about it when they already had an idea what I was rambling on about and were just looking for how to join up.

So, without me going on, and on, lol, I'd like to let everyone know that small town srt-8 is now not only the Northern Alberta rep for this club, but a moderator for this forum. LX Forums staff was kind enough to allow a second moderator, and with both the South and North represented, I hope it ensures that ALX can continue to grow and thrive.

I thought this would make it easier for the club to have local meets (IE: Calgary and area, and Edmonton and area), as well as all member meets like the one on July 14th, while still operating as one larger club. I think this will ease the thought of some that felt that every get together would involve a road trip for members from one area to the other. It will also make life a little easier on me, not having to worry about the emailing on my own, or making sure that this forum stays as smooth running as it has been.

WOOOOOO HOOOO, well helllllooooo. I feel like i'm new again.All i have to say is THANKS to Blacksunshine and to all the people at are interested in all i have had to say. We are going to have one heck of a first meet and greet and many more great things to come. Thanks once again Blacksunshine. This was a great idea north and south.

Ah ha, now that sounds good. Thats a heck of an idea Calgary vs Edmonton at the track . Now the one question i was going to ask to the Calgary members , Do you guys have a road race track? I'd come down for that. I'm going to be coming down there in the next week or two anyhow.
