Wheels and Windmills Car Show - Solvang, CA - 29 Aug 09

So as the title says, it the Wheels-N-Windmills Car show in Solvang Ca. The event will be 29 Aug 2009 and it's definetly one to check out. If you've been looking to take a drive up/down the beautiful California coast this is the weekend to do it!

It would be nice to get a good representation of LX's at this show. After speaking with the coordinator, they are considering opening a Modern Muscle class next year if there is enough to fill it! Let's make a good showing!!! The show raised over $4,200 for the Santa Ynez Valley High School Auto Shop program last year so it supports a good cause and keeps the new generation of potetial LX owners funded!

Check-in and parking of the vehicles will take place from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM.

I know that this is really EARLY but I want to win an award from this place. Most car from a car club. The winner last year had 35 cars (I think) but I want us to show up in force with at least 50 LX's & LC's!

Just to let you know that I will be up there on Friday night this time!!! This is an awesome little town and they have a ton to offer!!!

You don't want to miss out on this event either!

So mark this date down and try and make it. You will not be disappointed at all.

I will have more info in May 2009 because that is when you can sign up for the show.

Car Show Registration

DUE TO LIMITED SPACE, PRE-REGISTRATION ONLY!
NO REGISTRATION DAY OF THE EVENT

Registration will be open until the 300 available spaces are taken or 8/3/09 (whichever comes first).

Registration Cost is $40 for the first vehicle, which includes one event t-shirt, one “goody bag”, and one dash plaque. Registration fee for additional vehicles is $20 and does not include a t-shirt, goody bag or dash plaque.

Confirmation letters will be sent to all Registered entrants up to 10 days before the event.

Class JJ is what you would click on... and unless you are stock... you are modified.

well after loosing the prostate we were hoping for the best but with the last blood test levels are still high he will be going in for a full body MRI to look for the culprit... fingers crossed!

I have to make it this year, put me down.

I wonder if we could turn this into a three or four day deal and include last years failed CenCal/SoCal Hearst castle on Friday and this on Saturday.
