Weekly Car Show in El Cajon

Event: El Cajon Car Show
Date: Every Wednesday
Time: Main Street Closes 1400-2100

Meeting place will be in the Target Parking Lot on the east side of the building..

Time: 1800 (6pm) will leave promptly at 1830 (630pm) to head over to Main St.

I am asking because I want to add this to the SoCalLX calendar...

Also if you can get me an address that would be great!

I set the meeting place for the Target bcuz it is about 3 blocks away from Main St. and big enough to hold about 100 cars..

What calendar?

Anyhow....Talked with the organizer last night and here's what he had to say.

They have a street within the car corral area that they want to give to somebody for the events. BUT we would need to have a minimum of 10 cars dedicated to this thing every week...Also he states that every week somebody in the group is guaranteed to walk away with a trophy (they judge the cars every week/different categories).

So if we want to be a part of this weekly event (i know it is getting late this year) I say let's show them how we in SoCal can get together. There are three more events this summer.....so let's get out there..We need to have cars there around 530 at the latest..

So the meeting place will still be the Target on Broadway, but we need to be there by 5pm and rollout by 515pm...to head to Main St.

I am definitely in every week.
