Unhappy Tranny shop in So Cal??

I already posted this elsewhere, but I'd thought I'd try again...
Does anyone know of a good transmission shop in Orange County? It looks like the wife's '99 Durango is gonna need a tranny rebuild. I'm lookng for a shop that does good work, and price will also be a major consideration. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

    Thanks in advance!!!

I've always gone here http://www.westminstertransmission.com/door/ for my tranny problems... they wont jerk you around by putting crappy componants in to undercut the other guys... for example: I had a Chevy C1500 pickup w/ a 700R4 trans that I got rebuilt by the lowest bidder... for $1200.00 Lasted about 15,000 miles, Went to see Joe at Westminster Transmission and he rebuilt it for $1450.00 and the thing lasted for 48,000 before I sold it to my buddy and he drives the poo poo out of it... still no problems...

It's all about the componants the guys use to rebuild it, and weather or not they replace everything that is worn out.

It's not in Orange County, but close by in Long Beach... Stu's Tranmissions on Cherry Ave. does great work and are honest. Prices are very reasonable too.

Thanks for the responses. Someone at work also suggested Westminster Transmission. I'll give them and the place in Long Beach a call after the holidays.

    Thanks again

ya, thats true as well. thing is with the trannies Dodge used in there trucks is most, if not all, 727/518/904 parts interchange to some point oin the 46RXXX family. biggest error some make is using AT+3 with friction modifiers instead of AT+4.

Yeah, thank God I was paying attention and didn't make that mistake!!! I've been known to get preoccupied at times and miss "little" things like that. LOL

Hmmm...wife's uncle also suggested Westminster Transmission. Sounds like that's the place to go. I'll update after I get the work done, but it already sounds like I'm gonna be as happy as can be going there. Thanks again for all the input.
