Yea this sucks. I drove through a pothole on Katella near Disneyland yesterday, there is a bunch of construction going on, and bent the inside of my wheel. It's not that bad, but it leaks all the air out overnight. I am trying to have a wheel guy fix it now.

Hey Lance, I am still wanting to get some parts painted. I will call you later to get some info.

I had a twister hit some apartments a block away from my house and touch down a block away in the other direction and took out a bunch of trees back in the 80's. I've never heard of tornado warnings in Lower California, but have heard of at least a half dozen over the years

Hey, you guys can't complain about tornados - thats for us in the cornbelt! You guys have wild fires and earthquakes and the folks on the east coast have hurricanes - don't take our only complaint.

Well, not only complaint, we do have sub-zero temps to complain about too...

Dude cmon how many tornadoes really hit MN? I grew up there and the most I heard about tornadoes was one day 7 touched the ground in the same day! It was a new record.

There are warnings and such but very rarely do they touch and make considerable damage. No I didnt grow up in minneapolis so dont think I am a city boy either!

The cold is no joke......when you go outside and your nose hairs feel like ice its pretty chilly! lol

Two years ago, Hugo, MN was nearly wiped off the map - its about 15 minutes north of St Paul. There have been a few small towns in the last couple of years that have been nearly destroyed and back in '98 the large city of St Peter, MN was devastated by one - there are still houses along the main drag that are vacant because insurance companies are fighting owners of the places over damage/rebuild costs. We get a lot of warnings, but we also have a lot of touchdowns as well.

NOT ONLY hurricanes-we get the entire state lit up with fires this time of year [dry season] -plus in the summer we have tornadoes in central fla and pretty much every day in the summer [july-sept] in miami off shore [water spouts] and they do come ashore and blow out windows and trash cars. THEY are so commen they dont make the news unless a car gets fliped over or some one gets hurt. They happen around 3:00-4:30 pm in the summer like clock work.

I think that California has the most number of tornadoes per year of any state in the US....although most happen in the desert, but still.

I remember that there was a tornado warning in the Bay Area a few years ago and folks were freakin' the 'F' out.
