The reason it won't work for your avatar is, because it is too big. Maximum for someone that is not a site supporter is 80 x 80. If you become a site supporter ( Click Link ) you can go as big as 100 x 100.

I resized them for you, if you want them. Right click on the pic and save to your computer and them add it to your profile.
