San Diego Car, Cruise & Race Events for 2007

I've sat on the sidelines long enough hoping someone would do this other than myself... Well it is time to get busy...
I am finally taking the reins for San Diego County for the SoCalLX Car Club and will try and have the most updated list of events for the San Diego area.
Since I do not have the time to organize all of these events; I have taken the liberty to nominate our one and only… Mo!!! (FF2MOE) as SD President to facilitate this task.
Here is the list I have been able to compile for San Diego Car Events in San Diego County and surrounding areas for the remainder of the 2007 calendar year. You can find the link here at www.lxforums.com : http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=76038
I will list all events and BOLD the MOPAR night events; as well as denoting them in RED. Please add to the list if I have left anything out or you hear of something I have missed by Pm’ing me. I want to keep this list updated as much as possible. If I have additional dates, I will add them once provided via a pm.

Holy crap - great list Chris! Let us know what LX events you want added to the calender at SoCalLX.com and I'll put them on. We want to try and keep the events there limited to LX only or larger events where the LX community is making a major showing (ie. Cruise for a Cure).

Your list shows what a huge opportunity there is for drag racing and road tracks in SoCal - more so than I thought was available. Wow, lots of show and cruise events in SD as well.

what a tone of work, but it is going to be so o'worth it!
Moe and I need to get together and discuss what we want to do down here now that we have something to work with.
I agree TOTALLY on trying to do just events we can do as a group.
We are going to try and have 1 meet site - Fuddrucker's in Mira Mesa which is centreally located to EVERYONE for the San Diego meet probably the 2nd Sat. of the month at 10:30-11am till when people leave after eating.
And then have a floating one probably the last week of the month that goes from the southern area of SD to the northern area of SD to appease them all!
As for the race stuff - I could not believe how many opportunities there are for racing.
The Dec. 1st & 2nd one caught my eye immediately.
$195.00 to run the road coarse and part of the oval!
OH YEAH!
With some of the racers back in Georgia - I might start a race thread on its on so everyone can see it for CA., AZ. and NV. and set up some track days. Cause if I am "jones'in" for a race fix I know everyone else is.
