room rental needed in SD near Naval Station/ 11-17 to 12-12

Attending a 25 day School at Naval Station SD. If you have a room I can rent let me know how much and how far you are from base. Just need a room, a place to shower and study. I won't eat your food and I probably won't be there on the weekends. I'll be a ghost! I'm 30 and have been a Sailor for 9 years. I won't wreak the place. Responsible adult and many upstanding people here can vouch for my character. Thanks!

If the Navy Lodge is full try the Marine Corps lodge at Miramar. What's your rate btw? AC1 Here... as of Jan 08 USNR.

PS2, Former DK2, trying to cross rate to NC.

I'm tring to advoid staying at the Lodge and paying $50-$75 a night for 25 nights. Even Space A charges $27 a night. I'm on no-cost orders, so no per diem and it all comes out of my own pocket! Not many people are willing to go TDY on their own dime but I really want this school and it's the only way I can go. My command is broke!

No cost orders for NC school, bummer! Wish I could be more help, I'll ask around to a few of my guys that are still in SD.

Check the barracks on North Island too, when I left SD in 05 for Lemoore they were $17 I believe.
