Gettin it off tiki...

Car is looking pretty sweet now with the mods from today... Once it's lowered a bit I'll be only a few more minor things (powder coating my lugs myself, stereo, and some dings to touch up) and I'm good to go for SF! Headers are on hold til I find a house... Or til I get bit by the mod bug again...
Bags may come in the future if I get a second car and not using this as my DD...

Let me know when dave gets those Eibachs off his car... i can help you do the springs on the charger... its not hard...

Last mod day Danny and I (mainly Danny) did springs, sways and shocks/struts on 2 cars before lunch... LOL about 4-5 hours...

I am trying to plan days but the only day I have to do my coilovers is march 5, so I can get them to richie the following week which is the week of the planned mod day at kris' shop. I know it sounds kinda last minute but will that leave enough time for us to get that done for him.... even if its the only major mod we do on the 12th?

the suspension the only major mod I have left on my list to complete before spring fest...

I am working on my audio stuff now... almost have my boxes built (will show off progress this friday at the M&G)... might need a second amp tho doesnt need to be nearly as powerful as the one I have... want to do something different and playing with different ideas... deffinately need to get a new head unit... and wire everything up...

Got another question... do they make a back-up cam that would fit in the light in the center top section of the trunk? if so that would be an awesome addition to my audio/video mods....

The only way you will be able to accomplish this would be to remove the third brake light or try to install one off center, since the bulb is in the center of that housing, but it can be done. there are plenty of small diameter signal cams out there, try ebay.

also, it is against the law not to have a third brake light, so I would suggest thinking this through before you do it.

A better place for a back up cam would be down near the license plate or on a plate frame. that is what I am using.

Didnt know it was illegal... my old buick didnt have a third light, tho maybe the laws were diff in 1986...
its an idea im tossing around...
