I'm flying back east and looks like I'm gonna need to park my car for a few days. Has anyone left there cars there while on a trip? hows their security?

That is like the only Airport that I have flown out of...
But I had a lot of my friends fly out of there and left there cars there for a week or so..
Just a question... How about a cab??? It might be cheaper to do that then leave your car over at the airport and paying for parking... even with a cab ride home... just a thought...
Thank you Bigal470
If you've never flown out of John Wayne let me tell you how the take off will occur...they rocket you off the runway in almost a vertical launch then "coast" until your over the ocean then light the engines hard again..it's like a roller coaster ride for sure.
Have fun on your trip.

You're not supposed to tell people about that BEFORE their flight. It takes all the fun out of it.
I've parked in the covered parking a few times with no problems but it's really expensive, especially if you're used to the rates of offsite parking near LAX (like Wally park). I don't think there's any offsite covered parking near John Wayne, either. If it's just you flying out I agree with taking a cab.
thanks, I was thinking of a cab but thought that would be way more expensive? although I am leaving my house around 4 am so traffic won't be slowing me down.
thanks again, and I do love roller coasters wooo hooo!![]()
You might want to call a limo service and get a town car. They often have flat rates for airport trips that are comparable to a cab ride. Plus, you get to watch people wonder who you are when you're being dropped off and picked up in a limo.![]()

George I'll take you and pick you up. Call me. No need to park your car. Leave it at home.

I travel about once a month, usually out of John Wayne where I always park in the Main St lot (across the 405) and have not had any issues or heard of any.
