    Question How are Nexen tires?

I had a quote of $825 (includes $79 alignment, no idea why though) for a set of Nexen Rodian in a 275 40 20 mounted, balanced, new valves, speed balanced, and road hazard.

Hmmmm, this is what they recommend for replacing the size I have now.

Nice looking tire, I wonder how much...

Just make sure that the aren't made in China. USA, Canada,Europe, Japan and Korea, probably safe. I wouldn't want to depend on anything made in China that could kill me. But that's me. Poison dog food, milk, lead paint on toys, etc.

Says "Korea" on the tire. And their warehouse is a couple of miles from my job. Hmmm

If you get em, post your experience. Not enough choices, esp reasonably priced. I had a set of Korean made tires last 100,000 miles on a 4 cyl Mazda once. Not to be confused with a hemi, btw.

I previously ran a 265/30/22 and liked them better than the Yokohama's I have now that ran me $400 more. BUT, there's always a but, I looked for them last time I bought tires and no one could get them. The fact that my sidewalls were all cracking real bad and coming apart when they took the tires off after about 1.5yrs and 40,000 miles may explain why no one could get them. Might be available now, hopefully with a different recipe.

thats not great deal.. i paid $280 for 2 delivered to my house and had good year install them for another $40 total... look around there are better prices than that.

i am running 295-40-20 on the back of my srt8 and i love them... they have a nice design and run well in the rain... probably 8K miles on them and no visible issues with wear...

It seems like a few people may have had positive experiences but, as some have mentioned.....this is not a good deal at all. And to top it off .....they are not the best tires. I realize they may be in a certain price point but if you shop around you can find the tire you want at a price less than that. I have 2 brother-in-laws that manage Discount Tire locations and there is no chance they would ever sell me those tires. It does come down to preference but, if that is your price point there are a number of other brands you could go with before Nexen. Just my opinion of course.
