    Exhaust Help in San Diego

I believe I have another header gasket that has failed me. Does anyone know a good shop in the San Diego area?

I have JBA headers on the car and the dealership wouldn't touch it last time. I used JBA performance shop on the last repair but they seemed expensive at around $300+.

    Thanks for the help!

Drew, use the OEM gaskets. They're the best I've seen for us. As for shops, use Ed Hanson's in Spring Valley. He's awesome and his prices are more than fair for the quality of work he does.

I went there for some work and he cut the quoted price for me in half when he saw what the work entailed in person.

    GREAT service!

Well I took the car to Ed Hanson's, what a great guy too! Unfortunately it wasn't the exhaust making the ticking noise, something internal to the engine, arghhh, and on my B-day to boot! I have it at the dealership now, 7/70 powertrain warranty should cover it as long as none of the aftermarket bits void it. They seem to think it might be a lifter, waiting to find out. Wish me luck!

san diego dodge was not shut down by chrysler. they did not want to pay there people and the owner had unrealistic demands. so most of the good people left. then it just fell apart.
