    Drive In

    I went a few week ends back to the Van Buren drive in and I have to say it was pretty cool haven’t been to a drive in since I was to little to remember (sorry new to living in the IE if this is a regular thing to everyone else). Anyway on to my point I saw a bunch of VW guys there meeting up then rolling into the theater together and that got me to thinking any interest in a M&G at the Van Buren Drive In?. Feel free to make suggestions or flame me to death for the stupid idea.

    thats about 3 mins from my house... there is also one on Mission in Riverside... but its closed for the winter...

    It would be fun for sure! We have been there a few times... its $7 and you can usually 2 maybe 3 movies depending on where you park... we park int he back and watch one movie and then if we dont like the second one we can turn around and watch the other movie behind us...

    A little bit of a drive for us, would have to be on a Sat night.

    Group I and II, sunroof, tow package, nav, sirius, Uconnect, auto headlights, 20" American Racing Torq-Thrust M Wheels, 245/45/R20 Kuhmo Ecsta ASX tires, KW V2 coilover suspension, Hotchkis sway bars, Zoomers Cat Back Exhaust, Aria CAI. LED smoked tail lights. Shaved rear hatch. Pinstriping by 2-Stix. Custom painted palm tree headlights w\halos & painted fog lamps w\halos by AAC.
    Custom Billet Tech "palm tree" pieces
    And lots of little visual mods that make it ours!

    It has been a long time since I have been to a Drive In... the last time must have been 1988 in Lakewood... those were some great NIGHTS!!!!!!!!

    Drive in.....man havent been to one of those in a long time! Probably not as long as you other folks but I know its been a while for me.

    When are you thinking about setting this up?

    im down for a drive in! they used to have one by my house but they tore it down to put a lame walmart there! haha

    A Saturday night work work.

    Back in high school in the 70's we used to go there nearly every week.....I woke up there more than once to swap meeters rolling in to setup in the morning after falling asleep during a movie....

    I haven’t quite picked out a date yet but I am open to suggestions looks like a Saturday would work well for most people. I also think next month would be best given the hooters meet is this week and the current movies are ones most people have seen here is the link to there site if anyone is interested http://www.vanburendrivein.com/#/movies/ please feel to chime in with date suggestions.

    Feb 13th or 20th works here.
    Can be in March, Spring Fest is the 20th, so not that weekend. April works too, CPW's Spring Fling is the 20th of April.................


    We never get to the movies, so I haven't seen any of the current or upcoming movies.

    This sounds like fun!
