The Arizona LZ Club would like to offer you the opportunity to sign the prayer book for the family of James Lindsey (jtl13f).
This book was signed by all that attended the Memorial we held in his honor April 21, 2007. There are a few local members that could not attend and as soon as I am able to present the book to all of them for signing I am wondering if you would like to have it forwarded to you.
I have made arrangements to have the book forwarded to the Chaplin of his unit in Iraq to provide all his brothers and sisters in arms the same opportunity to sign. We will be sending it with as many discs of video and still shots of our memorial. It would be nice to have as many discs from as many clubs as we can before we send it to the unit. After his unit has the opportunity to sign it will be returned to us we wish to assemble as much video and stills as we can and then forward it to his Family.
We hope to have held the raffle by then to have the fund raising portion of our memorial effort completed as well.
If you or any other clubs have any interest in this let me know.
We held our memorial Saturday, it was a great day. We closed with a 21 LX gun salute. It was a small gesture made out of respect for not just James, but all his fallen brothers and sisters in arms as well as all our protectors now in harms way.
We also had a book signing for Virginia Tech, it is labeled from Arizona LX Club, but other club names could be added along the way.
Wishing you all the best,
Now drive on
