Thumbs up Brembo OEM pads for 118.00 Front n' Back

I read on 300c forums that this guy found out that the Brembo brake pads are made by a company called Jurid which is Bendix in europe.
(Brembo does not make brake pads)
So he was able to match the numbers up and he came up with this:
    OE SRT8 Brake Pads

    Front: $65.99
    Bendix: MKD1149
    Chrysler: 5174311AC
    Rear: $65.99

    Bendix: MKD592A
    Chrysler: 5174327AA

    He's name is LEAD FOOT

So I kept reading and many member bought those brakes and they claim they are the same.
So I order front and rears for 118.00 shipping included.
I'll let you know when I get them.

I seriously doubt they are the same.....but I will be watching this thread. That would be $200 cheaper for the fronts and $110 cheaper for the rears..........doesn't seem right.

if you go here it seems that they are a bit cheaper before shipping ...not a secure site though so proceed with caution may want to call....

From their websites, Jurid and Bendix look like they're 2 totally separate companies. Jurid is owned by Huneywell and Bendix is owned by Knorr-Bremse. I don't think they would be the same pads either.

    Jurid is Bendix
    This is what I found:

Over the years, Bendix has made major product contributions in the automotive, aviation, aerospace and transportation industries. But it’s in vehicle braking where we’ve made some of our greatest innovations. Bendix Brakes is a major global supplier of automotive brake friction materials and aftermarket brake products with annual sales of nearly $700 million. There are 13 manufacturing plants and five major engineering facilities in nine countries. Key products include disc brake pads, drum brake linings and a variety of premium application-specific aftermarket brake products marketed under the Bendix brand name in North America and the JURID brand name in Europe and Asia. To round out the company’s good/better/best offerings, Bendix also sells friction and other components under the RoadTuff, StopRiteT and Bendix. Global brand names. For more information on Bendix call 1(800) 231-3726.

For many years, the JURID name has stood for products with a high level of quality, performance and innovation. The largest production site of the global friction pad manufacturer (Bendix/Jurid) and the technology centre for Europe is in Glinde, near Hamburg.

2002: Knorr-Bremse assumes 100 percent ownership of Honeywell Commercial Vehicle Systems from Honeywell International Inc. The company changes its legal name to Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC.

Has anyone tried these Bendix pads yet to see if they're really OEM (or close)?
