6-22-08 Benefit Car Show. Calabro airport, Shirley, NY.
My car club (Long Island Region Plymouth Owners Club) and the Kiwanis are running a car show out on the eastern end of Long Island. There will be the obligatory swap meet, live music TBA, a silent auction, and many activities for the kids, also an appearance is being worked out for Mick Foley. There will also be a display of vintage airplanes. Judging will be done by a few of the kids from the Sunrise fund will be only a few classes. This will be a full benefit car show, in that ALL (100%) of the money raised will be donated to the following two causes.

Sunrise Fund - Children with Cancer, a NFP group which help children diagnosed with cancer. They cover expenses outside of insurance for the kids and their families in Suffolk County.

Camp Kiwanis, a NFP fund that helps send underprivileged kids to summer camp.

Date: June 22, 2008
Time: 9:00 through 5:00
Location: Brookhaven Calabro Airport, William Floyd Pkwy and Sunrise Highway.
Cost: $5.00, which includes a tshirt. I suggest pre-registering.

As I am the VP of the club we will be among a few number of newer cars. I can have an area set aside for all of us. It is open to all cars so it will be diverse.

Entrance includes a goodie bag with free t shirt. Rain or Shine. and only 5 bucks. Non judged. I forgot to post here I have been busy with preparing for the show. Room for 250-300 cars.
