Unhappy Two Phoenix Second grade classrooms set on fire

On friday night at about 2 a.m. May 4, 2007 two class rooms at echo mountain were set on fire by arsins unknown. Burning everything inside includeing all of the teachers equipment, teaching supplys and tools as well as the students beloved classroom pets. One of the teachers also so happens to be my sister which has been teaching for 4 years. The hard part for these teachers is that they build a supply of teaching tools over the years out of they're own pocket and with a teachers salary to rebuild a classroom from scratch is nearly impossible. At this time the school has not offered to reimburse the teachers for any of the added supplys and tools that they have aquired. I know this isn't as extreme as some of the other charities we have all put together but anything will help these teachers and thier students for the upcoming school year. I haven't planned anything but I will be opening a "Pay Pal" account for anything that people would wish to donate. I also am takeing any suggestions on some sort of charitie show or car wash to be held this summer(Joe i know your the best at this). My family and friends will also be more than willing to help us out and I'm sure once we have something put together, the students parents and communities will pitch in as well. So with that being said, please let me know what you all think we can do
    Thanks again
    Ryan
    And the Penney family

    Ryan,

This is an unbelievable thing that has happened. please lets sit down with the teachers and see what we can do. I know that the standard car wash is always a good fund raiser, so we could schedule washing about oh about fifty Arizona LX Club cars. Also what were the class room pets, as I know the students often get to bring them home for the summer, and they need to be replaced asap.

I am sending you my number so we can get moving on this now.

    wishing you well,
    full

ICLOSEM has asked that we not schedule this in front of or on the day of the Eades benefit. A very nice gesture toward that event if I may say so myself. We will have one fine event for this, and I am looking for anyone that would like to help get it off the ground.

PM me if you would like to be a part of the planning and organizing of this event.

    All the best,
    now drive on

This school is located south of union hills off of 19th street. The address is:
    1811 E Michigan Ave 3
    Phoenix, AZ 85022

I know there is a high school off of union hills and 19th, and some stores on union hills and north cave creek road. It would be nice to find a location that is close to hold this event. If any of us are members of a church or work at a business that has the room and would be willing to host please let me know. I will start working on some help from our quickly large base of local businesses to see what kind of support I can add.

School is almost out, lets give some children something to smile about before the last bell of this school year.

I just need a time and place. I'll see if there are any of our Aerospace suppliers/contractors in that area , they always have big parking lots.

Go to your local Walmart and Target... They help in this sort of thing all the time.
What would the US do if Mexican Drug lords lauched rockets from Tijuana?

I was even thinking at the school but for a car wash i think we need to be in view of traffic to get people to stop especially with 20 or so beatiful cars in the parking lot people will stop when they see that
