Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!

To all those who drove to Little Anthony's in Tucson Saturday ....

    T H A N K Y O U !!

Mark and I, with other locals, really appreciated meeting many more of those we've become acquainted with on this forum. Neat people and great cars!

You have energized us to go forward with "forming-up" the Tucson chapter of AZLX's. See you at future club events!

A good time was had by all! got down there early and drove up Mt. Lemmon where it was a beautiful 75 degrees... showed up to little anthony's early and grabbed a burger with the family... met some great new people and hung out with some of the finest folks I know... all in all a great day!! Thank You, Tucson Chapter!

Feeling better, Gary? I hope the sonic laser asteroid blaster thingy did the trick. I was looking at your signature smiley earlier, betting that that's what it felt like, that dude in your small pipes... hope it's all outta there now, buddy!

Thanks to everyone. This was a great turnout. Maybe next time we should have the meet on Mt. Lemmon?

It's okay as long as you don't get stuck behind slowpoke chicken out of state or unfamiliar driver. There are a few paved parking areas but many are dirt. Some of the rocks are big. It would not be good to have to go off-roading unless I bring the Durango. This will take some doing. You can't reserve campgrounds so we would have to luck out and find an empty one.

Another place I like to go is Mt. Graham. A lot less people. It's paved up to the Shannon campground. It's higher and more lush than Mt. Lemmon. The road is much more twisty and no gard rail in places. The only problem is that it's much farther.
