Strawberry Cruise - Overnight Or One Day

The weekend of our cruise up north has been determined, and it is August 1-2:

Strawberry/Sedona Trip - Which Weekend Poll

Now that the date has been set, let's see how many people want to do an overnight and how many want to do a one day trip. You can always change your mind later about going for one or two days, I just want to see how much interest there is in an overnight and how many people can only do Saturday or Sunday. That way I can figure out the best route to take up and back and accomodate everyone. Please only vote if you plan on going.

What time approximately would we be leaving on saturday if we did it?

I know that some people have other obligations on Saturday or Sunday. If we do an overnight we can still accomodate the Saturday-only and Sunday-only folks. My thinking is people who have other obligations on Saturday can take the fast way up north and meet up with the group Saturday night or Sunday morning. People with other obligations on Sunday can go up with the group Saturday and break off to go back to Phoenix whenever they want.

I'm thinking we would meet in the parking lot of Casino Arizona near the intersection of the 101 and 202 freeways in Scottsdale. That is a convenient place to get to and to access rt 87 going north. If we leave around 10 AM we would be in Strawberry around lunch time. I'm guessing it would also put us in Sedona about the time the sunset would be pretty cool.
