One of the cars that I drove at the SRT Track Experience was the 2006 Crossfire. I was impressed. Anyone have any negative information on this model? I've got a dealer looking for one for my wife. They should be available on an overstock basis somewhere within the Chrysler network. These are MSO cars (never been titled) with a full 3 year 36,000 mile factory warranty. List $45,000+. Should be able to buy for around $27,500.00.

Sweet!
The head of SRT has been quoted as saying that aside form the Viper, the SRT6 was his favorite SRT vehicle.
They are sweet, and can now be bought very cheap.
I'll let you know what I paid for it when I get it back home. In the 60% of sticker price.
I have heard the ride can be brutal for day-to-day driving. But at that price you can afford softer shocks.
Lucky for you, it won't be faster than your C. I've experienced a couple of run-ins and it was no contest.
(Waiting "patiently" for the 300C SRT8 8-speed) Coming.....soon?
You know what's nice, Bob, two SRT vehicles (300C & Crossfire) for the price of one Cadillac CTS-V.
Larry Roesch in Bensenville,IL has one. If I overheard correctly, it is still new, never titled. I guess it was found in the back of the storage lot somewhere.
Here's the listing on their website. Ask for Bill Brown, great guy to deal with. Tell him that Eric sent you.

Thank you, but after a very long day and a round trip to Albuquerque, our SRT-6 is sitting in my garage next to the SRT-8. Fantastic deal!

That's so cool man! Congrats.
its a benz...just different body parts...even the inside setup looks like it too...i have to rewatch the car show hat i watched about it....nice car but sux that chrysler couldnt make this a brand new spanking car instead of using the storage bin @ mb...:|
The Crossfire is basically the MB SLK. I was also impressed with that vehicle at the SRT Experience. I thought it was the easiest car to drive hard on the track. Maybe because it is tight and small. I have always like the styling as well. The crossfire beats the old SLK of which it is the same platform) hands down and rivals the new SLK in looks. The only thing I thought was bad was the rear visability. If it had a camera on the wing and a screen for a rear view mirror it would be a lot better.
