I was thinking maybe El Paso would be a good place to meet. It's a long drive for people in Dallas. Roswell, NM might work too. I'm just not sure about the accomodations.

It may be a task finding a meeting place that is very far from the Texas group. It is hard to get a M&G together that is more than a couple hundred miles away. Plus, if it is where no one lives it is a bit more difficult to line up all of the logistics. But no matter where it is, it would be cool to put a small convoy together, anyway.

El Paso has plenty of rooms available. I think the local drag strip remains open. GREAT FOOD! All those boots and western clothing stores. And a really neat "Warbird" museum. MSD ignitions is based there. Good and diverse local "car guy" scene.

Have made the drive from Roswell to El Paso many time, not bad.

This could be real fun!
