Thumbs up Major props to fullofit and Junior!!!!!

I just want the forum members to be aware of how great these two guys really are.

Last week my wife and daughter flew to Arizona to visit family. Before they even landed I was able to get in contact with Joe (fullofit) and let him know they would be in town. I was following the G.A.M.E. thread and thought it would be cool if they could attend a well organized event, filled with the enthusiastic members of the AZLX Club.

My wife knows how active I am with the forum, and thought it would be a nice oportunity to see what we're all about. Now the logistics of how she would get there........Joe put out an APB explaining the situation, and the very generous Mike (Junior) steps up to help out. That's right....my wife and daughter got a first class ride with Mike in his sweet Top Banana Daytona!

She said she had a great time and that everybody she met treated her like family. My daughter said "there were alot of really cool cars, daddy!" And the finale with the LX 21 gun salute was the icing on the cake!

So thank you again, Joe, Mike and the rest of the AZLX Club for putting on a great event!

    Regards,
    John

It was a pleasure meeting them , maybe next time they will drag you along for the trip.

It was a good day all in all. I forgot my sunblock and am paying for it now , but it was worth it.

Oh , Junior (Mike) beat me to the punch. I dont mind playing Taxi , it gives me more time behind the wheel. His car is faster though. 8(

I haven't had the pleasure yet of shaking Joe's hand and spending some time, but I look forward to the opportunity.

Mike... well him I've spent some time with and... yep, Mike is some great people.

Way to go guys. Yet another example of what makes this particular bend in the intertubes so special.

Well thank you John - I said it elsewhere, but it was a pleasure taking your ladies along! Barbara is a real class act, and little Amanda is just a ball of sunshine - you probably heard that she was eager to grab some microfiber and help me shine the Nanner up once we arrived.

I hope they enjoyed being along as much as we enjoyed having them along!

Tell them Hello and thanks for the kind words for me.

    Mike

That's so nice to hear stories like this! Members stepping up to assist in any way is a tribute to all the goodness around here. Way to go guys! Heck, I didn't even get to ride with Junior in his Top Banana during SF so I'm glad these special ladies got the opportunity.

Joe, fullofit - I hope to meet you sometime. You sound like a top notch LX'er.
Mike, Junior - You know I think you're awesome! I enjoy every time we've had the chance to hang out. Whether it's around the cars, at the track or having a drink (or two). You're one of those people that the more I know you, the more I am glad I do.

    Props to the AZLX Club.
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely...but rather to skid in broadside thoroughly used up, totally worn out, loudly proclaiming, "WOW, What a ride!"
