    I'm next... or so I hope

    So my kid brother calls me from the dealership to tell me he's about to get the keys to his Challenger R/T. Sounds like he got a nice deal. I knew this was comming since his '02 300M Special ( which he bought new ) developed a rod knock. I knew he was looking at 300C's and the Challenger and was hoping he'd buy the Dodge.

    I'm excited for him and called my buddy Bruce ( another old-school MoPar motor head ) who has owned an orange '09 Challenger R/T for a few months now. Now I got my brother and my best friend telling me they're going to drive back and forth in front of my house doing burnouts until I go and buy one.

    I think I'm still gonna hold out for the Spring Special or Classic in B5 blue. Guess I better get a head start and list the '05 300 on craigslist (I'm keepin' the '06) .

    Congrats Jeff! Now it's time to join the forum.

    OK, I couldn't wait any longer.. went and did it. Ordered a B5 Blue 6 speed SRT Challenger. Hoping it might arrive in time for my birthday May 19th but it'll probably take a little longer. Sometime early May when the wife asks what I want for my birthday I'll tell her I already took care of it. Holy crap is it gonna hit the fan LOL ! Anyone lookin for a deal on an 05 300 Touring hit me up !

    i got my srt and few months later wanted her jeep patriot!!! i want srt chally or cherokeee now, may not work again! lol

    Back in '84 ( I know some of you weren't even born yet ) I built my first car, a 70 Charger with a 383 and 3.23 gear. Two years later when he gets his license he gets a 70 Roadrunner with a 440 and 4.10 gear and tears up me and pretty much everything else he comes up against. So yeah, I went for the SRT LOL !
