    how about a dyno day-days?

I just finished a meeting with and Enthusiastic Tim Kelly of XACT DYNO. I inquired about the cost of having a dyno done, and also what would be the cost for a Arizona LX Club group dyno day. He said that if I could actually get ten members with LX cars interested in this he would give us the reduced rate of 60.00 per car. I am not sure of Dyno Pricing, so any input will be welcomed on this. I am sure however that he is well aware of our cars, is set up with a nice to the hubs machine, and can do all wheel drive as well.

He also informed me that one company has complete tuning done for our cars, and is currently testing. I urged him to point them in our direction, as we have some of the best customers for testing, and have a great track record with many vendors doing just such tests. He said he did not know the release date, but would keep us informed. He is considering joining the site, so lets see how that goes.

I guess what it all comes down to now is I am wondering if it is possible to find eight more cars among our club that wish to be tested.

Tim's shop is near some nice parks, and it would be possible to have a family picnic and Barbecue as well. There is fishing at Tempe town lake within walking distance.

I have not done business with Tim as of yet, I do know people that have and I have not heard any thing bad out of them, also I have seen the large flow of business from his shop over the last few years, as we live very near.

    all the best,
    now drive on

Interesting concept. I've never seen that dyno before. Looks like you have to take the wheels off and it connects to the hubs.

I'm not jumping out of my seat to get to a dyno. Maybe it's because I've pulled back on mods or I just hear of so many differences in runs people have.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll have fun at the BBQ.

I would be interested in a dyno, preferably in mid or late June.

First time I've ever heard no race gas or no a/f readings. Most want to know a/f.

Thanks, but no thanks. I'll pass. I'll probably be out of town anyway.

Plus I don't really want anyone to know my numbers LOL

Saw and talked with them at SEMA last year. Neat unit for the smaller type of tuner guy and very compact. When your done, just roll the **** in the corner. But, you'll loose a lot of time with offing the wheels and coupling the unit and such. What ever.

Dyno days are fun guys, you should do it.
From wild to extra wild we got you covered with crap ya never knew you needed.

The first 6.1 transformation and it all went down hill from there.

They are fun Cam. I've been to several at AZDC, along with quite a few more on my own. 2 or 3 pulls is about all you need, unless your tuning or changing a few bolt-ons.

Seems like it would take alot of time to take wheels off, hookup, dyno, unhook, and put your wheels back on. Could be a very long day. I don't know if I could stay awake long enough for 10 or 12 cars. LOL
