Hopefully, if all goes well, I will be headed to SIR in Tucson this evening. It's test-n-tune night. Gates open at 4pm. I'm going to make a few runs on this Denver Colorado track. Probably just to work on my reaction times. It's $20 to race.

See ya there (hopefully, my wife might have other plans for me).

OK, back from SIR. It was windy but fun. Even a bad day at the track is better then most other things you could be doing.

My best ET was 16.278 at 87.39 mph. Remember that this is not the best place in the state to race. SpeedWorld holds that title. A lot of people where not getting their best times tonight. At SpeedWorld I'm in the 15's all day. I also had a full tank of gas. I didn't know I would be racing until this afternoon.

I was the only LX racing. There were a lot of Mustangs both old and new (2 new Shelbys among others). I hung out with the Mopar guys.

There was a bit of disrespect too. Someone had a Ford Lightning SVT F150 truck with a big "Here Hemi Hemi" sticker on the back. His best ET was 14.1 at 97mph. I also watched him go 14.33. I know our Arizona crew could have taken him, easy. If you are going to put "Here Hemi Hemi" on your truck you better run better than a 14.1.

There were a lot of cars (imports) in the 16's, 17's, 18's and gasp 19's. So my 16's didn't make me feel too bad.

Hey Z, too bad I didn't see this. My brother in law and his uncle were there in his GTO. I didn't go but maybe coulda.

Anyway, great story about the Ford. I was there a few weeks ago, and my best was 14.1 and 101 mph. That would have been a fun run.

I'll pm you a better way to reach me going forward.

Street Legals Test and Tune
10PM to 1AM.
The next day being Mother's Day that probably won't go over too well.

Fri. 5/25/07
Open Test and Tune.
4PM.
I have to go to a wedding this date.

Fri. 6/1/2007
Open Test and Tune.
4PM.
I may be able to make this one. Maybe we should all go?
