I just got new Hoosiers mounted, and I was thinking of trying to make it to Speedworld tomorrow night. Anybody familiar with the programs out at Firebird have a guess what the crowd might be like tonight?

If my folks are settled in, I might be able to head out thataway.

I forgot I have irrigation tonight, so that might throw another hitch in it. Not looking likely, but we'll see.

It was hotttt and the truck was not too happy. There was about 75 other cars there braving the heatsoak. Everyone I talked were disappointed in their times. I knew I wasn't going to break any sound records, but wanted to try the new Nitto NT05s out. I have yet to hear a tire come loose and squeal. They are the sticky icky folks!

Downright depressing the difference temperature and DA makes. Last time I took the GCSRT8 out was months ago with cargo and practically a full tank of gas but the temps were in the 50s. I believe the best time I ran was a 13.25 then. Tonight, I had half a tank of gas. This time I pulled the subs, mats, babyseat, and other extra bs and my times still sucked.

On the positive, I beat an Eclipse, Mustang GT, C6, and another GCSRT8. Run #5 where I fell asleep before hitting the gas, I lost to the same GCSRT8 I had beaten.

you just need to bring your own cold air with ya. strap a bottle on that thing and run a 50 shot. and your times will greatly improve. you will have alot better DA. and that thing will be a rocket.
