I'm thinking about taking advantage of the great sale Mopar is having and getting my Challenger a couple of years earlier than anticipated. If anyone is interested in buying my Super Bee please let me know. Group I (heated seats, dual zone AC, EVIC), Group II (upgraded sound system, Sirius/XM satellite), side curtain airbags, rear seat DVD, sunroof. I added DMH electric cutouts, Mopar CAI, posi-centric brake pads (no brake dust!), visor disguisers, and window tint. I also changed the hood stripe to the retro 1971 style Bee-In-A-Circle from Rider Graphics. Car has 26K miles and is flawless except for the minor pinstripe (as Junior put it) I got way down low on the front fascia on our trip to Tortilla Flats last year. As most of you know this car was used to transport my 3-year-old twins to/from daycare, so this car has never been raced or abused (you didn't see me at Speed World/Firebird/Day 2 at Spring Festival did you?). No stains inside - the kids weren't allowed to eat or drink in the car. Lots of tire tread left. This car is almost showroom new.
Book value is $27,400. If an AZLX member is interested I'll sell it for $26,500. I'm torn about selling it, but the plan when I bought the Bee was to get a Challenger eventually and the deals you can get on a new Mopar right now are unreal. Financially it makes sense to do it now because in a year or two I probably won't be able to get the price or interest rate currently being offered on the Challenger (assuming Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep are even still in business).
I think Junior should buy my car. Especially considering what happened on the way home from 83rd the other night. A little more than a pinstripe....................
